If you have discovered a swarm of bees or bees nesting on your property, it is important to deal with the issue carefully and responsibly. At Country Life Pest Control, we provide professional bee removal services for homes and businesses, helping safely manage bee activity while protecting pollinators wherever possible.

Only honeybees swarm, and in many cases swarms will naturally move on within 24 hours. However, if the swarm is causing concern or is located near entrances, gardens, schools or public areas, our qualified technicians can safely collect and relocate the bees.

Where possible, we prioritise live bee removal and rehoming rather than extermination. Bees nesting in chimneys, wall cavities or brickwork can often be removed safely, although specialist access equipment may sometimes be required.

In situations where bees present a genuine health risk and live removal is not possible, insecticidal treatment may be necessary as part of a structured two-visit bee control programme, followed by proofing to help prevent future nesting.

We also provide advice regarding bumble bees and mortar bees. Bumble bees are never treated with insecticide by our team and are relocated where possible.

We had squirrels in our loft and so contacted a company who phoned half an hour before they were supposed to turn up to say they couldn’t come. So I phoned county life pest control who said they would try to come that day, and they did.
Darren was the pest controller who arrived and from the get go he was informative, knowledgable, and very active setting traps and a camera to monitor activity in the loft.
He kept us informed of what was happening in our loft via phone calls.
A hard worker (how gets into the small space to set his traps is beyond me) and a nice guy too. A credit to Country life pest control.
Yes I recommend Country life pest control, and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if needed…..hopefully we won’t have too.

I contacted Keith yesterday afternoon as I suspected rats under my house. Keith came out within 2 hours, provided bait traps and arranged a second visit. Called Country Life Pest control as we had heard scratching in the loft
Keith came out and set 2 Traps and a camera so any movement could be seen and monitored, and see what it was.
He notified us we had a squirrel.
He contacted me today to say it was active again and he actually caught it.
I can only express our thanks to Keith and Country Life for their professionalism and prompt action.

Brilliant service. We were having new windows fitted when the workmen discovered a very active wasps nest above one of the windows. We called country life for help and they came out within 2 hours.

10/10 service. From the initial contact the service was fast and efficient and very professional. It was also very impressive. Martin came out to remove a bumble bee hive living in our squirrel house. Turns out it was a honey bee hive. Martin managed to single-handedly detach the house from the big oak tree (not an easy job as it was nailed in and very heavy) and carry it down the ladder. He then sealed the hive and relocated it to a beekeeper in the area. We were very impressed! I would highly recommend Martin and Country Life Pest Control and would definitely use them again for any pest problem.

Honestly can't thank this company enough, with a 8 week old baby and the idea that mice maybe in the house I was freaking out, they came out on the same day I called within a few hours and helped ease my mind instantly! Super fast, efficient and effective service! Would 100% use again, though hope I'd never have too 😂 highly recommend! ( also price is very fair for the work(s) done!

I recently used this company for help with a rat infestation in my property. I found them helpful, punctual and they did a good job. Martyn’s company provided an amazing service….within an hour of me calling about a wasps nest he arrived and dealt with the issue which was in an awkward to reach part of the chimney. This prompt action allowed the team on site to continue installing a new woodburner and lining the chimney otherwise they would have had to leave the job. Can you remove bees without killing them?

Yes. Wherever possible, we prioritise live bee removal and relocation. We only use insecticidal treatments as a last resort where there is a significant health or safety risk.

Are bumble bees treated with insecticide?

No. We do not treat bumble bees with insecticide. Bumble bees are important pollinators and will usually leave the nest naturally at the end of the breeding season.

Can bees return after removal?
